NORDICUM Pulp & Paper Special Report 2007

Nordicum issue 2/2007 presents Finland’s ambitious forest cluster 2030 vision. We also take a look at Russia’s complicated investment issues. In our interview Professor Liuhto states that while some industrial sectors are worth investing, others such as energy are less secure from the point of view of foreign investors. Nordicum 2/2007 also reports on the travel scene in Finland and the Baltic countries. According to the Lonely Planet Blue list, these destinations are on the rise in global tourism. In the pulp and paper special report we cover some of the big projects, for example the Fray Bentos pulp mill in Uruguay and Huaihua in Hunan province, China. Finland’s largest project, UPM’s Kymi recovery plant construction, is also included.
